Athea had the best memories from the entire experience of
undergoing music therapy sessions. Not only her time was organized, but
also people actually cared for her. She felt brave, important, and like
she was setting an example to others. Her therapists listened to her stories
with real interest. This was a big change for her. Before the accident,
her stories were considered not so interesting. No one had the time to
listen to her much. Athea decided to become a music therapist herself.
This was something she felt she was born to do. One would think she had
to go over a career change. She started studying: music, music theory and
facts about composers, psychology, sociology, physiology, neurophysiology,
astronomy, cosmology, and divination. She kept collecting all the info
she could find. A set of special devices was recommended to her to help
her fulfilling the tasks. She enrolled into a program and soon found out
that she was one of the best students. This discovery gave her more motivation,
so the time was flying. Now, for the first time, she felt like she understood
people.
